Louis Mazzini and his mother are here outside 42 Woodhurst Road, Acton.

We first see this street when Louis's mother goes to post a letter on the corner of Cumberland Road, pushing Louis in his pram:

The pillar box is now on the opposite corner:
Louis and his mother are supposed to be living in Clapham, some distance away, but houses in Acton can easily pass for houses in Clapham, and Acton is conveniently nearer to the production base at Ealing:

I don't think this interior is actually that of the house we see from the exterior. The view through the window looks right, but surely this is a studio set:
