The Mapping in Arts & Humanities Research Symposium, organised by Mark Shiel (King's College London) and Roland-François Lack (University College London), takes place at UCL on June 27th 2017. The Keynote Address will be given by Shannon Mattern (New School for Social Research, New York). Among the other speakers are Maud Borie, Maurizio Cinquegrani, Michele Ferretti, Arooj Khan, Jina Lee, Anna Viola Sborgi, Karen Smith and Rod Stoneman.

Two Mapping Workshops precede the symposium. The first was hosted by Mark Shiel at KCL on 14th June and centred on the film studios of Los Angeles. See here Mark's preliminary notes for guidance.
The second will be hosted by Roland-François Lack at UCL, and will discuss how to map a film. |
