According to the catalogue description this performance, recorded by Lumière operator Charles Moisson, took place in front of the Solferino restaurant at 7 Rupert Street:
Whichever archivist researched these catalogue entries had a very fine eye, because they noticed this same troupe of minstrels (and I have not the competence to know if they are black musicians or black-face musicians) passing in front of the Empire Theatre in the Lumière film Entrée du cinématographe.
